Vacuity
Scarlet against sable
an ebb-tide retreating
Hollows of memory
Hollows of agony
Echoing Echoing
Spears of feeling
Ricocheting in caverns
Firelight dancing
Dragon shadows
Fighting Flying Fleeing
The Dance The Ritual
Embracing Enclosing Entombing
Frozen monuments glowing
Lifeless in the sun
Encapsulated by dawn
Reflected memory
of moonlight
Haunted hills Still sound
the Banshee cry

Fledgling day dies
Even as it
Rises

I ask you
for the time
and you tell
me about
Tolkstoy

The Karma Lie
Karma
lures with her lies
Promises
You get
what you give
Believing they got
Because they're good
They look at
Others who suffer
And declare
Pain as punishment
Karma
Calls self-serving
Charity
And erases
Empathy
