Lambs are symbolically connected with Passover, Easter, and Spring. The Celtic fire festival of Imbolc marks the beginning of Spring and the start of the lambing season.

I hope everyone who celebrates had a good Passover, a joyful Easter, and / or a happy Spring Break. Spring, on the Celtic calendar, started back on February 1st with the festival of Imbolc. May 1st is Beltane, the start of summer. Check out the links below for posts on those Celtic fire festivals. There's also a link to my post on animal symbolism in Celtic folklore.

I'm taking this week off as my Easter vacation and will be back to researching and writing next week.

The next post will be out by May 5th. Hope to see you then!
